So i figured how to play the game. Basically, you just have to watch the show to gain points. Like, because Naya chooses Emily as her character, she has to see whether Emily is A, or Emily gets attacked on the show etc. You just have to follow all the points on the list. Since Emily has alot of screen time this week, it’s no wonder why Naya gets over 300 points.

Goodbyes

It’s funny how, when you’re saying goodbye, even if you know that you’re going to see that person sooner than you know, it’s still so hard. Especially if you love that person.

My friend is leaving for Phoenix tomorrow, and on Saturday I’m leaving to go to Minnesota for a month. Although I’m going to love being in Minnesota with all of my Minnesotan friends, I’m still going to miss her like crazy until we are uhhh reunited. (I smell cheese)

Not only that, but school is ending in a few days and I’ll be leaving all those people there that I love, which will make it all even harder.

Again, it’s not like I won’t see all of them in a month or two, I just feel like that’s much too long.

Okay, I suppose, all in all, I just detest saying goodbye.

Unless it’s to someone who I don’t like.

If I could change change anything about myself, I would definitely make myself have a Jamaican accent.

Honestly, the way the Jamaicans talk is like music to my ears. I want to marry a Jamiacan guy so I can hear him talking all day long. They just make everything sound like it has more life to it. They’re JUST THE BEST!

And reggae music? It totally makes you want to either go to Jamaica or like eat some sort of exotic fruit. Both of those things are healthy for you, so pretty much listening to reggae music makes you healthy.

I am totez in love.

With no one I know.

I really do wonder what it would be like to be in love. I imagine it would be nice. Very nice. Like having a perfect hair day everyday. But I am young, and there’s honestly no me to love yet. No matter how sure I am of myself, there’s virtually no one else out there that’ll like me for being that person yet. There never has been and there won’t be for, I assume, a very long time.

Oh well, what can us weird artists do when we’re this age? Expect boys to fall at our feet? No! We’ve got to wait until they’re older and wiser, then work at it! There’s really not many other ways to reach great happiness :).

So if there’s anyone out there whos like me, wishing something love like would happen and knowing deep down that it won’t for a while (maybe a long, long while), then just don’t worry! Just do your own thing and wait for a real opportunity to come to you! And if it doesn’t seen like its going to, then you just gotta get out more. No biggie.

Music in the Age of Dubstep

I’m only using the title “the Age of Dubstep” as a term for a time period, an era. This post won’t be exclusively about Dubstep or anything.

Hey, you! Yeah you, young teenage people of the 21st age! Listen to more interesting music! Maybe this is just my opinion, but does every song EVER now sound exactly the same or is that just me?

Have we, as human artists, lost our senses of creativity?

Is that why every pop song (or should I say poop song) in existence has the same chord progression? And the same topic (sex or broken hearts or some other questionable crud)?

I’m getting a little passionate. Let’s go through this chronological style. (I’m excluding classical music evolutions)

First (starting from the 20’s): Fun, lighthearted jazz is sweeping the nation. All the nations. It’s a worldwide fad. And why wouldn’t it be? It’s all so happy! And simple! And relaxing!

Second (moving on a bunch of years to the 60’s): The Beatles and Elvis are coming out of the woodworks, revolutionizing the way we listen to music and expect it to sound. Girls are finally realizing that it’s alright to go insane when a hot, popular man comes up to you and makes you swoon. Rock AND ROLL is starting to become a thing. Things are still great, music-wise.

Third: 80’s music is a bit weirder and more modern. Still great, but maybe not as complex or original as some earlier music. (But I can’t say I don’t love Boston or Pat Benatar or Nena. Or Footloose. Come on.)

Fourth: 90’s music is getting super super poppy. But not sexually insane yet. Good. We’re not there yet. (N-sync <3)

Fifth: NOW. Crap we finally got there. The past couple years have brought us gems like Katy Perry, and Ke$ha <—-(what is that?), and Jayzzzzz, and…”shudder”…Eminem. Now music is about a bunch of questionable crap. And, maybe it’s just me, but I don’t want to have to hear about what happened to you last night when you were drunk, Ke$ha, ok? I just don’t.

So I’m sorry, pop-music-listeners. I think I’m gonna stick with my Stevie Wonder, and Steely Dan, and Dudley Moore, and Basia…and Florence + the Machine. Love her. Ooh and Jarle Bernhoft. Okay now I could go on for hours. Which I kinds already did.

I am one judgmental lady, aren’t I?
